Foxfire Golf Club is offering Junior Golfers an opportunity to learn the game of a lifetime. The Junior Golf Program is designed for golfers of different age and skill level. The primary emphasis of the Junior Golf Program is to help junior golfers achieve a level of knowledge and skill to make the game more enjoyable. Instruction on golf techniques helps players develop their skills under the guidance of PGA Golf Professionals, high school golf coaches and outstanding collegiate players.

’24 Junior Golf Programs – Ages 5 to 18
Rookie Program:
Designed for the beginning golfer. The major emphasis of this program is building fundamental skills in a fun and safe environment.. Participants will learn golf basics that will transfer to good practice habits and fun on the golf course.
Intermediate Program:
Designed for the player with some experience in golf. Players will receive instruction on full swing, wedge play and putting. Emphasis will be placed on proper swing techniques. Participants will be individually evaluated to provide personalized practice drills to develop their swing. This program is also designed to help players gain confidence and consistency in their games.

Rookie Program: June – 24, 25, 26 Time: 9:30am – 11:00am Cost: $60.00
Intermediate Program: June – 24, 25, 26 Time: 8:00am – 9:30am Cost: $60.00

Meet Brian Barnett
BRIAN BARNETT, PGA PROFESSIONAL –
As a PGA Professional for over 20 years, I have had the privilege of coaching and instructing golfers of all ages. My main goal is to make the game more enjoyable to all golfers, while taking the competitive golfer to a new level. My ability to connect with my students and form relationships, allow me to create the perfect learning environment. Every golfer is different, this is why I like to find out why they play and plan my instruction to get the player to where they want to be. As my students progress through the program, I want them to understand their golf swings and why certain things happen during their swing.
I love teaching all age levels of players, and specialize in teaching juniors. My Junior Golf Program here at Foxfire is a summer staple for the young golfer wanting to learn to play the game. Many of my juniors go on to play school and college golf. The thing I love the most is these players come back, after their competitive playing days, for instruction. For the adult player, my specialty is taking the novice player and teaching them to play the game of golf at an enjoyable level. Whether you are a junior golfer wanting to play at a high level or just want to enjoy the game with friends and family. I welcome the opportunity to improve your game and increase your enjoyment level.
